So from the posts here I am guessing either his fire debuff hit my vehicle from ages away and he was killed before I could check his patrol route or his detection was a false alarm.

Someone else in the zone also had a similar experience at the same time as we were talking about it over local. Edit: Confirmed, this was caused by that fire debuff he has being fired at me from miles away. I checked recap and mobspells once my realm came back online today, both showed it as a single incoming attack from him. I would estimate it to be similar to Terrorpene but this is not confirmed. What I can add though, is he didn't spawn more than once for me while I was questing in the area.

I was also in that same zone for a couple of days and only saw him the one time. My guess, and this is only that - is a 12 or 24 hour respawn. This is just a guess from my experiences though so please don't chew my head off. Killed him very easily as a 84 hunter. Had a guildie say his NPC scan went off as soon as he zoned into Hyjal.

I suppose I was just in the right place at the right time. He was hitting my pet for around: k melee swings 1. He dropped Blazewing's Furious Kilt - a lvl 85 pair of leather spirit pants, just like it says :. Make sure you are FAR away from Tortolla before attacking.. Like a respawn timer, spawn location s , something people who are interested in killing him can use? As interesting as it is to know you got hit with his flame debuff while visiting your grandma in Boca Raton, we know its range, and your posts are not giving us anything useful to work with.

Stupid Deathwing. I didnt even look for Blazewing, it was just random. I went to Orgrimmar on an alt just quickly because I wanted to record something on my alt. So I down it, and about 5 seconds later before I can touch it's loot a stray mob kills me with a fireball, so I run back, kill the mob and try to loot it, turns out that it show the little loot icon, but when I try to loot, my troll just does the loot animation and I can't get the gear, so I decide to reload UI and take all addons off.

Comment by mankey56 Saw this npc flying around when i was farming obsidium on my level 82 mage around maybe 7pm can't remember, it was pretty easy baring in mind i had ilvl epic level 80 gear.

Killed him with no worries, hes uber pretty :. He's not very hard to kill, just get out of his fire aoe whose damages increase quickly with time. He's really beautiful and it's a shame he doesn't drop his owns reins like a certain Time-Lost Proto-Drake ;. My jaw litterally dropped, and I knew I had to slay this beast One tip, move your behind when he cast that area flame attack! My well equiped lvl 84 prot. The second time I was prepared, walked away from the flames and dropped him easily.

I brandished my great sword and THRUST it deep into the heart of the beast, destroying the very essence of it's being. As I stand towering above it, watching its life blood poor out at my feet, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the creature, for not only have I slain it, but I took its pants as well.

He didn't aggro me when I was flying literally on top of him so I had to land and kite him around for a bit. I don't think he even hit me.

Then when I realized it wasn't someone on their mount and his health was pretty high I got excited hoping MAYBE I'd get him as my mount if I killed him or got his health to one or something.

Comment by Tealgod If you're a lowbie and you want to prevent anyone else from knowing hes up besides running into him , make sure to interrupt the flame buffet.
