One Chance is an Adobe Flash game that was originally released in December, It uses a Second Generation style graphics scheme and the gameplay consists of walking forward and making a few simple choices. The player is a scientist, whose team found a supposed cure for cancer; unfortunately, it happens to be a pathogen that travels through air.
Now, he, and everyone else, has only six days to live unless he manages to reverse his error within that time. Moreover, the game cannot be replayed, so the title is very much literal. How do you keep the guy f rom stabbing you and keep your daughter alive!!!?! No matter what ending you get, everyone dies, incl uding the one explained i n this walkthrough. You f ind the cure too late to save your daughter, so yo u're basically the only h uman left alive with only a little girl's corpse f or company.

As for finding the c ure and wondering if your daughter dies anyway, yo u do end up saving her be cause if you work everyda y but go to the park on t he last day with your dau ghter instead of finding the cure the two of you s it on the bench and the d aughter very clearly clos es her eyes, then you do shortly after.
However, i f you find the cure on th e last day, the both of t hem are seen on the bench with their eyes open. It seems like thats the bes t possible ending. And I'm dead on the floor. You realize when the guy is walking towards you, " Defend" is an option with the spacebar.. In the end, you're both i n the park and he vaccina tes himself and I'm assum ing the daughter. No, she's very alive but sleeping at that point. But if you cheat on your wife when that lady asks for you to skip work wit h her a second time, she takes molly and leaves to her mothers and you die alone.

I am a coward, but i would like to know the five differe nt endings. What happens if you show Molly the bathtub when yo ur wife died? I've followed this walkth rough several times on th ree different computers a nd always end up dead in the lab. Alone, even thou gh Molly is on my back wh en I go in. There is a dead lit tle girl that looks like mollie but its not. I skipped work right afte r finding the cure but be fore the side-effects wer e announced, went to work every subsequent day, wi fe committed suicide and I didn't get the cure.
Bu t that's what pisses me o ff. Why would you be rese arching a cure before you know anything is wrong? Really, the work that you do on the first day shou ld not even be towards a cure.
Anyway, in subs equent playthroughs I'm a ninja , spending all yo ur time with family cause s a colleague to murder t hem and hang himself or just murder you if you do n't defend yourself , wor king every single day and doing nothing else gets you the cure and you save yourself and your daught er I'm pretty sure you d o anyway, I think her col our was back. Which is a pity, I'd ho ped there'd be more ways to find a cure, possibly saving the wife or someth ing.
Thought I'd add that he h as a job doing work. His task at hand was to find a cure for cancer at work. When that task was done , he had another to look into. Or maybe he went to double check his work af ter the cure was released for any impurities he ma y have missed. Clearly yo u've never had a job.
Note on the article: The cure IS made with this, b ut it is unknown if the d aughter lives or not. It' s very possible that the man, depressed that he is the ONLY one to live too k his daughter who almost made it with him in his sorrow. We don't know she 's alive. Assumptions lea d to wrong answers, just like this "cure" for canc er. Apparently, if your daugh ter sees the blood in the bathroom, there's no way to find a cure.
I did ev erything right except tha t, then I died. I actually showed the dau ghter the blood in the ba throom, but I succeeded. Your daughter dosen't die , she just sleeps because of all the stuff that ha ppened, like she needs so me rest and needs time to just close her eyes and actually have her mind ca tch up on what just happe ned. But you don't save everyo ne The cure isn't admi nistered via gas like the drug and so you and poss ibly your daughter are th e only ones that receive it, so the world still di es The "walkthrough" here is all correct in regards t o getting the cure, but I don't think the daughter lives at all.
If she did , don't you think her col or would return to her, o r maybe her eyes open? Working all week does ge t you the cure, but every one else is dead. Is it r eally worth it? I'd prefe r to make something that doesn't CURE it right awa y, rather slows it down a nd gives you extra time t o work on the cure.
