In one of the many times you and your partner are floating through a funnel, if you look straight to your left, on the same wall where your partner shoots Hard Light Bridges you will see a portal conductive surface that you would not normally pay attention to.
Shoot a portal there so that the funnel is coming out of it and you float through the funnel. If you look to your left you will see a companion cube behind doors that will open. You will then hit a spike wall and die, so don't try this while attempting Still Alive.

Keep practicing the puzzle until you are confident at the sequence of puzzle elements and how to maneuver quickly to each one.
