Sign up for free! Deleting from the game data utility folder? My 40 gb ps3 has ran out of space, and i realised that I haven't deleted from the game data utility folder yet, even though i rarely play a lot of my games.
I suppose that it won't affect my saves and will just "temporarely" delete the game from the system until you put in the disc again, but you can't be too sure. So here's my simple questions: What happens if you delete a game saved under the game data utility folder? Will it have any effect on the save games and trophies? But if you or one of your friends has a jailbreaker ps3, download the games you want into the jailbroken one and you can send it to the your ps3 using the data transfer utility.

So if you delete it you have to redownload it. DLC also isn't grouped into specific files, it all becomes one stupid block of data that includes patches and DLC. So damn dumb.
XSilverPhoenixX posted Ah okay was just checking. But looking at some of my files now I realize not all games do this. Fist of the North Star for one does not. They have a completely separate section that says downloaded content. User Info: AvantgardeAClue. So does the Fallout games. Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting.
